NO Speed Racer NOOOoooOOOo- UGH!You will recognize the characters and cars (at times), but that is where any similarities to the classic cartoon ends.
This could have been so cool, but it turned out to be a fusion of video games (that we have already seen), flashy graphics and no real story to speak of. A few scant exciting parts, but it doesn't last.
Sorry gang....... Wait for the DVD (if you must see the movie), this one just isn't good at all........
Great idea, bad execution...... I digress.

My biggest problem was when I saw the trailer, my first thought was "THEY STOLE THE TRACK FROM F-ZERO." A shame, really.
Like my friend says: "If it was called 'Hot Wheels' instead of 'Speed Racer' it'd be called a great movie."
