I'm totally bummed about this news: R.I.P. Roy E. Disney.... died Dec 16, 2009 - he was 79 years young.
From CNN:
"Los Angeles, California (CNN) -- Roy Edward Disney, the nephew of Walt Disney, died Wednesday after a year long battle with stomach cancer, according to a Walt Disney Co. spokesman.
Disney "played a key role in the revitalization of the Walt Disney Co. and Disney's animation legacy," the company said.
He died in a Newport Beach, California, hospital at the age of 79."

Fellow Deviant and swell artist posted up a Podcast she was a guest on. Very fun one to listen to. Mary goes into detail on creating characters and her early influences consisting of RainBow Brite, Care Bears & Sailor Moon (to name a few) and talks about her current "Plushie" toy line as well as her comics, which are so much fun!
I love the sound of Mary's voice.... I would cast her as a character and possibly the Voice of Witchie Boo... should I ever be so fortunate to get that property animated.
Anyhoo- Something cool to listen to as you draw, chill or gawd help us all.... can't keep your hands in proper places.
